How to setup a Free Shipping coupon

Total discount on shipping.
Step 1: Go to “C. Marketing & Boost Sales > 2. Coupons”
Step 2: Click on “Add Coupon”
 Step 3: Fill in the coupon creation form.

      1. Coupon Code – The code that buyer will use to apply upon check out. Each coupon is unique.
      2. Coupon Value – Choose “Free Shipping”
        a. Apply to all – Free shipping for all states in Malaysia
        b. Selected States – Free shipping for selected states or selected region (West Malaysia or East Malaysia only) .
      3. Total number of uses – How many times a coupon can be used.
        a. Enter the number of uses to be used for the coupon.
        b. Select “Unlimited uses” if there is no limitation of a coupon can be used.
      4. Uses per user – Limit number of uses per buyer.
        a. Enter the number of times that this coupon code can be used by a buyer.
        b. Check the box beside “Unlimited uses” if there is no limit.
      5. Minimum Order Amount (RM) – The minimum amount a buyer must spend in one (1) order in order to apply the coupon code discount. Set as zero (0) if there is not minimum spend.
      6. Only for UserID – Enter the UserID(s) if the coupon only offers to particular buyer(s). If there is a few buyers are entitled for the coupon, separated thier UserID by a comma (,). Left the box blank if you would likes the coupon use by all buyer(s).
      7. Start Date – The first day the coupon can be used.
      8. End Date – The last day the coupon can be used.
      9. Description – The information/ details about the coupon you offer. Maximum 250 characters, and buyer will able to see the message during their checkout process.
      10. Display in product detail – The coupon code will publicly display in product detail page.
        • Yes – Buyer will see the coupon code when browsing your product page. (Suggested to enable it if your offer coupon applies to all buyers.)
        • No – The coupon code will not show on your product detail page.
      11. Display during checkout – The coupon code will publicly display in buyer’s shopping cart when they added any items from your store.
        • Yes – Buyers will see the coupon code during their checkout process.
        • No – The coupon code will not show at the checkout page.
 Step 4: Click “Save” button to save the coupon created.
Step 5: The created coupon will display under “Manage Coupon”. (For more details on “Manage Coupon”, refer to “How to manage coupon“).
Step by step guide to create Free Shipping coupon
Example 1:

Free Shipping for all states with minimum purchase amount of RM 20 from 20 – 24 February 2017.
Unlimited uses but limit 1 use per user.

Here is the sample of how you can set it:

  1. Coupon Code – FSMY
  2. Coupon Value- Choose “Free Shipping” and “Apply to All” (Free shipping for all states)
  3. Total Number of uses – Unlimited Uses
  4. Uses per user – 1 (1 use per user)
  5. Minimum Order Amount (RM) – 20 (Minimum purchase of RM 20.00)
  6. For User – Leave it blank as the coupon is offer to all buyers.
  7. Start Date – 30th March 2017 is the date coupon can be start using.
  8. End Date – 7th April 2017 is the date coupon go expired.
  9. Description – The information that buyer will view during checkout.
  10. Display in product detail – Yes, as buyer will be aware on the promotion when browsing the product.
  11. Display during checkout – Yes, buyer will be reminded to apply the coupon during checkout.
Example 2:

Free Shipping for West Malaysia only, no minimum purchase required from 21 -25 February 2017.
Limit to 50 uses and no limit of usage per user.

Here is the sample of how you can set it:

  1. Coupon Code – FSWM
  2. Coupon Value-
    a.Choose for “Free Shipping”. (Refer to “B1”)
    b.Go for “Select States”. (Refer to “B2”)
    c.Then, click on “West Malaysia”. (Refer to “B3”)

    d. Selected option “West Malaysia” will display on the right table.

    * To deselect the chosen region just click on the selected region the right table.

  3. Total Number of uses – 50 (Limit of 50 uses)
  4. Uses per user – Unlimited uses (No limitation of usage per user)
  5. Minimum Order Amount (RM) – 0 (No minimum purchase amount)
  6. For User – Leave it blank as the coupon offers to all buyers.
  7. Start date – 21st Feb 2017 is the first day the coupon can use.
  8. End date – 25th Feb 2017 is the last day the coupon can use.
  9. Description – The information buyer will view during checkout
  10. Display in product detail – Yes, as buyer will be aware on the promotion when browsing the product.
  11. Display during checkout – Yes, buyer will be reminded to apply the coupon during checkout.
 Example 3:

Free Shipping for Sabah only, no minimum purchase required from 21 -25 February 2017.

Limit to 50 uses and 1 use per user.

Here is the sample of how you can set it:

  1. Coupon Code – FSSabah
  2. Coupon Value –
    a. Choose “Free Shipping” (Refer to “b1”)
    b. Check “Select States” (Refer to “b2”)
    c. Select “Sabah” (Refer to “b3”)

    d. Selected option “Sabah” will display on the right table.

    * To deselect the chosen state just click on the selected state on the right table.

  3. Total Number of uses – 50 (Limited to 50 uses)
  4. Uses per user – 1 (1 use per user)
  5. Minimum Order Amount (RM) – 0 (No minimum purchase amount)
  6. For User – Leave it blank as the coupon offers to all buyers.
  7. Start Date – 21st Feb 2017 is the first day the coupon can use.
  8. End Date – 25th Feb 2017 is the last day the coupon can use.

 What will buyer sees during checkout?
 Example 1:

Buyer shipping state is Johor but apply coupon that offer to Sabah buyers.
 Example 2:

Buyer shipping region is East Malaysia but apply coupon that offer to West Malaysia buyers.
 Example 3

Valid coupon applies during checkout.
